The Belgrade Plaza development will revitalise part of Coventry
city centre - but successful revitalisation cannot be achieved with
bricks and mortar alone. We also need to bring life back into the
city and that’s why continuing to support artistic events
such as the International Children’s Games and the Godiva
Carnival Procession is so important.
Belgrade Theatre
The Belgrade Theatre is delighted to be one of the major
sponsors of the International Children’s Games. An event
on
this scale is a wonderful opportunity for local artists,
organisations and businesses to work together in partnership,
to share skills and resources and to create an extraordinary event
for Coventry.

Creative Partnerships Coventry is part of a national,
government-funded programme, which works to support creative
learning in schools and to raise the aspirations of children to
become creative citizens. We are delighted to be
partnering the Belgrade in enabling children to research, design
and make structures for the Opening Ceremony of the International
Children’s Games.

As a local company, NP Aerospace offered to make the torch and
the “Olympic Flame” for the International Children's
Games. It is the first time the Games have come to the UK and we
are proud to be supporting them. After the Games, the torch will be
given to the next host city and so on - a little bit of Coventry
