A substantial and
incisive review of UN peace operations entitled, "A Review of
Peace Operations: A Case for Change" is being launched by the
Conflict Security & Development Group at King's College, London
on Wednesday 30 April.
The report, funded by the governments of
Canada, Germany, Norway, Sweden and the UK, is timely.
Following the end of military action
in Iraq, attention is now focused on the peacekeeping operation and
the issues faced in the stabilisation and re-construction of the
