Coventry's Selection Process - Boys' Football

[c]

Please note ALL participants MUST live in Coventry to compete

Only children born between January 1990 and December 1991 inclusive (14 to 15 years olds) will be eligible to participate.

The team will consist of eight players.

The selection process for the boys' football team has been completed and was conducted through Coventry Schools FA.

Coventry Schools FA hold open trials each year for players between the ages of 12 to 15 years olds. Schools are able to nominate their best players who will then compete for a place within the team. This process ensures that the most talented players come together to receive a high level of training and support. It also ensures that the best players are selected to go forward and represent Coventry in this year's International Children's Games.

For further information on the selection of the boys football team please contact Audrajean Elliott-Davies, Senior Sports Development Officer, on 024 7683 2444.

There are many opportunities to get involved in football in Coventry and for information on teams and clubs please contact Derrick May, Secretary of the Coventry Minor League, on 024 7667 8773.

For further information and additional details on the trials please contact the named person for each sport. Alternatively you can call Audrajean from the Sports Development Team on 024 7683 2444 or e mail audrajean.elliott-davies@coventry.gov.uk.
